• Walgreens wanted to combine retail and pharmacy checkout and pickup flows to a single experience.

• My role was to make picking up orders with retail and pharmacy items to be a single experience on their mobile device.

Process

• Met with stakeholders and interviewed users, consumed available user research and worked with the user research team for new questions and findings.

• Audited existing screens and internal workflows, learned about upcoming technical abilities.

• Pitched clickable prototypes with varying delivery timelines to Project Owners after satisfactory results from user testing.

• Worked with developers to ensure pixel perfect delivery.

Result

• One experience for picking up a retail and pharmacy order, no more having to stand in two lines.

• Walgreens ended use of contractors during pilot period, no follow up metrics available.
